Just A Simple And Big THANK YOU

Good afternoon, hope you’re doing well today. 🙂

For a change and since my latest posts sounded a bit tough to some of you, I wanted to just post a thank you post for all the fellow bloggers and loyal leaders.

I’m glad I’m making a community here and I enjoy communicating with you, listening to you and learning from you! This blog is having most of my time; I’m spending lot of time here to the extent that I feel that some of you are real friends and family. So thank you so much.

I’m showing March stats, a lot of progress has been made, more than 300 followers, lot of traffic and readers, many friends and friendly interactions, lot of appreciation and love. Which is more than great for a free plan and 3 months of work.

A Big thank you to all the bloggers from India following my blog. 🙂
India is the number one country in views section, then USA, Spain, UK and France (the top 5 countries). Dhanyavaad, thank you, Gracias and Merci.

Thank you so much and I would love please to hear your suggestions, anything at all, what you would like to see here, what’s bothering you and what to improve? Appreciate your honest and respectful input.

Huguette Antoun – April 2nd 2019

PS: my name is Huguette Antoun, I sign my name at the end of each post. huguetta is the user name I have chosen. huguetta pronunciation end is same as beta, Huguette is same as get. Now I will know if you’re really reading 🙂

  10. Congratulations on your growing success Huguette! I do enjoy your blog even though I may not always comment! Your success shows you are doing things right so no need to change. It’s always best writing what we feel. Glad to be a small part of your blogging family, I see there isn’t many of us Canadians! But I don’t get many Canadians on my blog either! Have a great day!

    1. Thank you so much Steve! I really appreciate your kind and uplifting words, 😊I’m really glad to know you enjoy even if you don’t visit too often, I’m glad to know you like my blog and the way I write, it means a lot!
Thank you for being part of this community, actually Canada is not bad, it’s number 9 so it’s very good! But anyway even if one person from certain country, I would be happy to know they’re here 😊 Salute to you and all Canadians as well
Have a great day (it’s night here 🙂 ) I wish you all the best and hope it’s getting warmer now 😊

      1. Well, not really getting warmer, today it snowed, then rain, then ice pellets, then back to snow! Now the sun is shining with the temp around 0C. But warmer weather is coming later this week!😁

      2. Good news finally! Hope the end of week will come the soonest! It’s really frustrating, the snow and cold, at least for me. We’re nagging here because it’s raining in Spring and it’s around 15 C!
0C I guess I will sleep like Dracula hahah
Stay warm and take care Steve 😊

  11. Oh wow! Congratulations Huguette! What an amazing achievement! I’m so happy for you! I feel happy to know that the fellow bloggers appreciate and love my blog that much even if they followed recently! I also enjoy your writings and my comments are as honest as all my content ❤
Glad to add another beautiful country to my list😊 Obrigado 🤗🤗

  12. Hi Huguette and congratulations-you’ve obviously worked hard! Super cool all the different country flags. Enjoying reading the comments here and show of support.
I like your name. Makes me think “hugs” and warmth. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much for your kind appreciation and for being a part of this community as well
😊 Your country flag is there ☺👍
I’m really glad you enjoy my blog and your support is highly appreciated 🤗
So kind of you to say so! It’s a French name originally and it means Intelligence or “Bright In Mind And Spirit”, what you thought is great as well thank you so much 😊😊

      1. I do enjoy your blog-I enjoy your “bright attitude”. Your post about “homeland” touched me deeply. But it’s the hope I feel in your words. Your smile that comes through. With so much destruction and death-in the name of God-and just plain stupidity out there-and for so long-enough is enough already! And so I say to the priest (a symbol) “you can’t hurt me anymore” and I smile. Keep writing and I will too! 🙂

      2. I read your Awakening post and it was so deep and I love the message you delivered, obviously you’re a person that decided to stay strong despite everything…This is a great trait! I’m still smiling, you are right despite everything, I always count my blessings and I’m very stubborn as well 🙂

This homeland post was coming from a burning heart, it’s sad that it was the last post I wrote because I gave up on my country (the rulers and situation) because we can’t take anymore deception and pain…we’ve been through a lot. I really appreciate your sympathy and how much you were affected by this post…Hope you will never face such things…And looking forward to reading your new posts and again I’m so happy you enjoy my blog ❤

      3. Oh gosh-to face such things-and not let it break you! Despite everything! And smile? This is what the Devil fears the most. Devil/Priest whatever. Lol! He hates it when people count their blessing, no? Blessings are powerful. You may give up on your country-I understand the burning heart-there is a word for it in Ukrainian-never give up on the people. That is what my father told me many years ago.

Again thank you for the well wishes—I do hope we can avert war in America. I would rather an asteroid or brimstone or something if we have to—but not more hate killing—and especially not in the name of God. But whatever may be in store for us in America, I am inspired to do my best here to keep writing, reading smiling-and envisioning heaven on earth- despite everything. Thank you for the exchange-I do appreciate it!
        🙂

      4. The devil fears me that’s for sure hahaa You’re right he hates everything good I believe
Never give up on people you love, I agree with your father, but bunch of corrupted people and thieves, well there’s nothing to hold on here, they need to go or stop stealing…
Wars are curses and hope that leaders will think more than twice before taking this decision, the world is so fucked up and doesn’t need more.
My pleasure always and I wish you great days and lot of happiness ❤

      5. That is awesome! There is a word in Arabic-shaytan? I’m trying to remember-it’s the devil inside, right?

I wonder, are the corrupt people even able to realize their actions and their consequences? Or do they just have to shut down their own hearts completely? Is there a “Divine plan” that these leaders are simply playing their parts? Oh boy—too much to think about so early in the morning!
You also have a great day full of happiness 🙏🏻

      6. Good morning ☀️ it’s 6.10 pm here
Well as u said a lot to think about and a lot of things we can’t control unfortunately! We just need to find what’s best for us and live
        Shaytan = devil it’s right
Devil inside means al shaytan juwetak / or juwetik (feminin)
        Enjoy your day 😊😊

      7. Well I don’t know if there’s a word on English, we call them jinn in Arabic, jinns are high spirits believed to exist in both christianity and islam and are higher rank than humans but they are not devils
        Something like that

      8. That’s what I thought. King Solomon had jinn. In English it’s been reduced to jeenie in a bottle. I believe they are real-I don’t how…
Something to think about—makes me smile even more! Thanks for the exchange!
        🙂

      9. Yes probably, they made it a bit funny
Many believe they are real! You should hear my grandfather telling real stories about them 😊 you’re welcome and always a pleasure interacting with you ❤️

      10. Sorry this one went to SPAM! I hope the jinns didn’t interfere hahaha Well they used to see the jinns the entire time, if a man, they would appear as very beautiful women and, or brushing their hair or sitting beside the river or so and when you mention the name of God, they become animal waste! Then when many churches have been billed, there are no more appearances as they told us 🙂

      11. Oh gosh mine all go to SPAM-I have no idea how any of this works. Ah well.
Animal waste! That’s fantastic! My dad used to tell stories to. Seems to me most cultures have their stories of spirits. I love them all!

Years ago a friend gave me a book-The 99 Names of God. It’s in both Arabic and English. I’m going to have to get it off the book shelf….
        🙂

      12. Oh yes no idea 🙂 Well yes, they claim they saw all this in their own eyes so who knows!
Well I think that book is just stating what are the God names as per the Quran that’s it 🙂

      13. Exactly! When I first read it (at a time when I was questioning everything I had been taught) it helped me makes sense of what I was already thinking. Ad-Dârr The Creator of the Harmful makes it make more sense! So I start off my story in chapter one with Isaiah 45:7
“I form the light, and create darkness: I make make peace and create evil…”
Along with The Bhagavad Gita—“where is God not?” Whether any of it is true or not-I don’t know-but this is why I smile.
I like what you wrote in your post about religion—and the saying about returning to dust. 🙂

      14. Well I questioned everything as well, I live in a country of different religions, we had civil wars, and we killed each other’s on the IDs (Muslim, Christian…)
I was taught to hate other religions and I had to overcome this all alone, especially that we were displaced from our home after a war with another religion: Druze
I’m Christian, my best friend is Muslim, I have friends from all different religions, I had Druze friends, we ate together, and slept under the same roof…I read the Quran as well…
Anyway I used to be religious and so attached to my Christianity, now I run from such people, I believe my own way, I don’t believe in many things, I hate men of religions and I only take what my brain accepts not more, humanity and love for me are worth 1000 religions !
Yes one of the beliefs or facts that still fascinate me, that we are dust and to dust we shall return, so powerful, so true, it happened that only the Christians Maronite and Catholic use this ash thing to remind people and I actually like it…
Thank you for this interesting communication 🙂

      15. Thank you for sharing your experience! Yes, I was also taught to hate other religions. But instead of hating, it made me want to understand others.
        I’m still trying to understand…

“We ate together..”. This is my image of heaven—an infinitely long table with different food from every culture-sharing. The food becomes us and eventually we become nourishment for the plants to grow and the animals to eat.

Yes, thank you for the exchange-I do appreciate it! 🙂

      16. Well I believe that learning and improving is a life time project, we never stop and sometimes it takes time to understand but we need to be willing to, most important step 👍

Yes I can imagine your image of heaven, it is actually! As John Lennon said « Imagine all the people Sharing all the world, you may say I’m a dreamer… »
but we’re still imagining and the world is getting darker everyday and the hate is increasing
But each one should start from their selves, it’s fair enough I guess 🙂 we light a candle instead of cursing darkness, my motto in life 🙂
Thank you as well for the sharing, it’s always a pleasure dear ❤️ let me know whenever you need help in any information I might have
Have a good day and weekend as well 😊

  13. Just a note on the pronunciation. Beta is a Greek work so if you say it the Greek way it becomes vita as in vita sackville west the great friend of Virginia Woolf. Yes I read to the very end 😉

    1. hahah oh thank you so much for reading and for this information as well!! I know vita as “life” in Italian, I should read for Virginia Woolf 🙂
Thank you for being a part of this community, your support is much appreciated ❤

      1. Most English people learn alpha beta gamma delta but that’s not how it’s said. It’s more like alpha vita yamma thelta. However for semophone it’s and talking on the telephone it’s alpha bravo charlie delta echo etc.

      2. Thanks. I see it all the time in academics who can read Ancient Greek but say it in an English way which makes it more understandable for the television audience but less authentic I think.

      3. yes even if if we’re not the best or we didn’t use it often but it’s always great to learn as sometimes we do enjoy if we love the language

      4. Yes I’m not being able to be persistent with Spanish, I start and I stop…Even though I want to learn but not making it a priority so maybe if I need it more, I would make more efforts

      5. Don’t t worry about inconsistent effort as your brain needs time to absorb and build links between all these new words. Just make sure you do it on a fairly regular basis.

      6. yes this is something I should try to achieve, I’m not being fairly regular
Thank you for you support and advice 🙂

  14. aw, that so sweet of you Huguetta. I love you too! 😭 ( I’m reading between the lines 😀 ) I’m sure the Spain traffic is because of me hahaha 🤣

  15. From Australia, I love your appreciation and positive flow. I also love that everyone I’ve met in this platform want to communicate in a positive way. People read, love and appreciate. Congrats btw.

      1. Thank you and yes I agree … Communication is fantastic and I feel blogging is truly a calling for me. I’m just about to go to sleep so Def’s good night but enjoy the rest of your day.

    1. Hahahah I didn’t want anyone to feel any guilt, I have created this confusion when I chosen my user name, but since people are calling me with my name, thought I need to clarify 😊😊 oh don’t break my heart now call me whatever you want haha ❤️😊

    1. Oh no you didn’t 😂😂 OMG I feel so silly keep doing these awards 🤓🤓
Thank you dear, it’s appreciated 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
Thank you for completing it 😊😊 checking it now

      1. Oh don’t worry at all, thank you so much for the nomination, I’m thrilled now hahha just like to complain a bit😁

  16. Congratulations Huguette! I feel so happy that I am a part of your wonderful journey.. you are moving in lepas and bounds to the pinnacle of your success.. oh you will never stop.. there’s so many more milestones to achieve.. always a pleasure to read your posts. 😊 Much love 💕💕

  17. Congratulations on so many amazing milestones. You deserve each and everyone of them. You’ve grown so much in the short (or maybe long) time I’ve been away. Im so proud of you. Truly 🙂

Building up your stats and your audience isnt an easy feat. It takes alot of dedication, commitment and honesty. Dedication in putting up great and consistent post. I think being honest in this community plays a great role in connecting with people. Dont you think?
