Random Acts of Kindness Award!

Oh look at this award name! “Random Acts Of Kindness” and someone thought that I deserve to be nominated!
This is so kind of you dear Steve and thank you so much for this kind nomination! 😁

Don’t know what can I say about Steve and didn’t mention it before: Oh Steve likes warm places, this is totally new 😂
Steve has surprised us lately with his talent in writing good and funny poems, actually both Steve and Muffin are so talented! 😊 😊

No questions involved in this award but we must share our experience with an act of kindness we did or witnessed.

I’m usually a very kind person but I find it hard to list the things I did for another people, I usually intervene to provide help or assistance whenever I can, even if sometimes people are rude and disrespectful, but I do what I’m convinced to do and what I find right despite. I instantly smile when someone accidentally look at me (except few cases of course).
But instead of listing the things I have done or witnessed someone did it, I will post a video I love and a post I wrote only about kindness so hope you will enjoy them!

Whatever you do in life, whether you learn something new every year, you have BA, master, many certificates and high level educations, buy new stuff, buy branded clothes, hi-tech electronics and stuff, whether you are super smart and beautiful…You will find that someone else just did it, or someone is better than you or like you.
Someone has invented things you thought about, opened businesses you wanted to have, you feel that there is a lot of everything, too much competition, too much information, too much things…you feel that your ideas or feelings are outdated, you are so left behind, many have been there, did what you wanted to do.
There is too much of everything! Except kindness, it is so so few… being kind and nice will always be creative! And it’s never outdated.
Just be kind and expect nothing in return…

When I go back and remember all the people that were in my life, that never forget about me despite the distance and time, I find only one reason: I was nice! They didn’t care if I was smart, and I wasn’t rich nor famous…I had nothing to give…but I was kind! Something I lost maybe years later, I’ve become more rigid and intimidating…because I couldn’t handle the heavy burden of being alone in a world full of hatred, hypocrisy and fake people…I was standing alone and I felt a huge responsibility, a lot of pressure! I wasn’t that strong so I just fell apart, the storm was huge and everybody ran away…and few have the guts to get close to me since…

But when I sit alone, I miss the old nice me, I miss the kind person that was simply kind without expectations or limitations, that didn’t care what people might think or might take advantage of, and these people couldn’t forget me! Like ever…
I changed many lives by just being kind, it wasn’t easy but I let go of all the judgment, expectations and even misuse and exploitation of some people.   I just let go because I know that only buy forgiving and letting go, you change people lives even if you are not part of it. And this is the hardest part!

Be kind and expect nothing in return. Life in 6 words but it will take you a life time to realize that! And probably you will never do!

Appreciate your positive attitude regarding this 😊 let me tell you that you don’t have to say anything at all, it’s not like obligatory and if you’re not comfortable to interact, just don’t do it, it’s all good! Many people have good content and I don’t feel like speaking to them so I don’t, it’s so simple.
        But when you decide to comment, do it to judge a content, and I believe my content is not shallow, even the awards I always include information and lot of ideas…this one includes an important post and very important topic as well…
        I blocked other people without speaking to them but since your attitude was positive I do appreciate that and thank you for your kind words about my character, I do appreciate your respect so much 🙏🏻

So few seem to want to give kindness these days, and you’re right, it’s be kind and expect nothing in return and it feels so good when we give that kindness to someone even if we get beat up in the process.       1. You are right, that is one thing that will last. I used to enjoy going around to older people and visit with them, help them with yard work, take them shopping or do shopping for them. Sometimes just sit and have tea with them and talk. They so enjoyed this little bit of kindness, so did I. Rusty and Sylvester are busy this morning! Better get them some more peanuts.😄🐿🌞

      3. Oh Steve and Huguette, I’m going to post on a little kitten that found his way into my kitchen, he’s now fostered as I have 8 and couldn’t take in another.
        Felt terrible to give him away but can’t cut his blessings as I foresee a fine future for him.

      8. Thanks Huguette! It was a long day coming back, both planes were late, adding more time to the trip. There was 11.5 hours flying time, plus 3 hours in airports and 3 hour drive home, a very long day!✈🛫🛬 Muffin is very happy again now and she seems back to normal again.😃😃😺😺🌞🌞

    You are very true, unfortunately kindness is missing in this world and every day I feel is worst…and people prove it.
    It is so simple yet so difficult for some…what costs you to be kind? Nothing? Is same as smiling, it costs nothing and can do so good 💕💕

  11. Hello dear Huguette , my congratulations for this beautiful Award well deserved 💓 , your words were so true and meaningful , especially when you said that we always can be creative with kindness 😘
    Unfortunately nowadays this quality is left behind and no one cares anymore!
    Being a person who tries to do her best for helping people , sometimes when the accumulation of bad things , pushs me to say to my inner me ,why why this happened to me I’ve always been a good and kind person who helps everyone , then in sad moments like that i just say ok I’ll no more be that kind and generous girl, but funny thing is that deep inside when you are a kind and a caring person ,you know that you will never be able to change this nature , even if you get all the strength and power of the world !
    In fact I always thank god for this amazing quality ,been able to be kind is a gift, because out there there is a world full of hate and superficial persons!
    I think that it should be the main quality to learn and educate ourselves with !
    You were right when you said that there is few , really few kindness in world, it’s like it’s going to disappear if it continues this way, a sad reality 😥

Hello my dearest Souad and thank you for reading and this sweet comment 😊 I do understand what you mean and this is why I said we shouldn’t expect anything in return, moreover sometimes we must expect hurt in return as it happened to me many times and like you, I always say I don’t want to be kind and anyway years made me more rigid as I said and I intimidate people but the fact is I’m nice! I’m kind and I don’t like to hurt anyone…
      I believe it’s a hard mission and I do feel your frustration but we are whom we are and we should be proud for being good and kind people in this era, we should really be proud and you are right to be thankful for this gift, this is really a great gift and I’m sure that you are shining like a candle in a dark room! ❤️

Good evening, you deserved the award, you are kind, you know for people who is really kind is always difficult to make the list of what kind of kindness they have done, because they help and they forget, they going forward with their kindness. Loving the video and music in it, as i said in one of my posts it cost 0,00 dollars to be kind or nice, my motto Just be kind and expect nothing in return… It may come to you in the different ways, maybe after few years, there no need to sit and wait for it. There no need to give good conversation matters, someone who understand and can give good advices, someone with who you can feel comfortable. I know what you meant when you said you miss old you, the world made you who you are, i was use to trust people and be nice with them and now i created so many barriers for myself, for example: there i dont go, with this one i dont talk, now i better dont say a word, i limited myself for my own safety and goodness, thank you for nominating me❤️it was very kind of you, well 3 or 5 rules breaking happens, i’m breaking rules of awards those days😁

      The old me costs me a lot! But I miss it sometimes, I was really kind and stupid haha anyway now I intimidate people as I said and few have the courage to even speak with me sometimes, maybe it’s better these days!

  20. Hi. Congratulations for this award. I like the idea. And I love the video. To be honest, I almost cried. I never saw kindness like this and I don’t know if I could ever be like him. The man is great. Money can’t buy his satisfaction that he made people smile. I am a little like how you were before. I understand all the time that people use and take advantage of me for their works but I help them anyway. It’s one of my weaknesses to not be able to say no. But I also like to help people.
    Kindness is the best anyone could offer to someone else, even strangers, without expectations. I believe in karma so I think it will always come around. Thanks for sharing the video 🙂

    Since I already commented on the kindness post. Let me just take my time here and cry with that man. Sniff. SO touching. The ending kind of annoyed me though. I wish it was just a story and not a commercial. But I’m so happy he adopted the dog (or is the other way around?) Felt tears in my eyes when he smiled for the young girl, ugh, seriously emotional. 😭
