3.2.1.Quote Me – Love

I was tagged by Hilary for 3.2.1 Quote me and the topic is โ€œloveโ€ can it gets better? ๐Ÿ˜

Hilary โ€œSerene Luna blogโ€ is a Canadian girl, wife and mother to a baby girl named Rebecca and she started blogging to get away from her addiction to the social media. Great decision I guess. Check her blog for more.

Please note that Rory will be re-blogging your responses unless you wish for him to NOT do so

โ€œOnce a week, I will pick a random topic, post two quotes on that topic and nominate 3 bloggers, who in turn will post 2 quotes on the topic and nominate 3 bloggers of their own.โ€ โ€“ Rory

Rules: 3.2.1 Quote Me! As copied from Hilary Post.

  1. Thank the person who tagged you.
  2. Post two quotes for the dedicated Topic of the Day. โ†’ Topic is LOVE
  3. Select three bloggers to take part in โ€œ3.2.1 Quote Me!โ€ โ†’ Iโ€™m keeping the same topic: LOVE

My Quotes: (3 instead of 2)

Today I will choose the quotes for Gibran Khalil Gibran, the Lebanese writer, poet and philosopher because itโ€™s just so deep and so original.
One of them from my favorite book โ€œThe Broken wingsโ€

โ€œHow ignorant are those people who have illusions that love is born with long companionship and constant accompaniment.
True love is the daughter of spiritual understanding, and if this spiritual understanding is not achieved in a single moment, it is not done within a year or a whole generationโ€

Gibran Khalil Gibran – The Broken Wings

Love is the only freedom in the world because it so elevates the spirit that the laws of humanity and the phenomena of nature do not alter its course.

Gibran Khalil Gibran

Love give naught but itself and takes not but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed; For Love is sufficient unto love.

Gibran Khalil Gibran – The Prophet

My Nominees:

  1. Simon: https://penonsite.wordpress.com/
  2. Lillian: http://orkidedatter.com/

Thank you for reading! Enjoy your weekend ๐Ÿ˜

    โค๏ธ
I hope you make you a great weekend.

    1. Thank you my dear ๐Ÿ˜Š so glad you loved them ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

    1. Thank you Steve for reading and so glad you loved them ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜บ๐Ÿ˜บ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
Have a great sunny day ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ˜บ

      1. Yup in Arabic. There’s this lyric Alec Benjamin has said…
It’s like…I don’t mind if you use me because if you don’t, you’ll just use someone else. I was like…wow.

There’s another one-also Alec- he’s like would you still love me if I killed someone for you? It turns out he killed his past self by changing for HER. I was like…woah

      1. About love? I’d just turn it to a very dark situation ๐Ÿ˜‚
But for real…I don’t think so BECAUSE I still didn’t do the expression quotes thingy challenge from you.

      1. Agreed! Years ago when I first met my husbandโ€”I found the Prophet in a second hand book storeโ€”itโ€™s been sitting on my shelf all these years waiting for the right moment to read. Thank you, dear Huguette for the inspiration. The last lines really got me! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

      2. So glad you did and I did nothing actually so no need to thank me at all ๐Ÿ˜Š
        Enjoy your Sunday ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ˜Š

  3. Love is sufficient into itself ๐Ÿ’• I have read The Prophet more than 20 times. It is divine โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™

  4. Hi Huguette. How are you? Believe me, your posts didn’t appear in my feed and I thought you were not posting anything then I thought I would check and here I am and I have missed so many posts, will try to catch up because it’s worth it.
I haven’t read his works, but his words are like magic. I really believe in the first quote and actually, every quote. Maybe that is what people call love in first sight, but it’s not that shallow, it’s a deeper understanding, a connection of souls๐Ÿ˜Š
    Have an amazing weekendโค๏ธ

    1. Hello Ramyani Iโ€™m good thank you, hope you are good as well ๐Ÿ˜Š donโ€™t worry at all, also thought youโ€™re not here and active as well, guess I missed a post for you either
Gibran is a great philosopher and you will certainly love his work when you have time to read
Exactly as you said, not the physical attraction and crush, itโ€™s the soul connection ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š
Thank you for your time to read and interact ๐Ÿ˜Š appreciate it a lot โค๏ธ enjoy the weekend as well

      1. You are very sweet. I get to post only once in a fortnight๐Ÿ˜‚ I don’t get much time but anyhow I wouldn’t miss your posts until I am here๐Ÿ˜Š
I think I would start reading his work with ‘The broken wings’. What do you suggest?
I love to interact with you๐Ÿค—โค๏ธ

      2. Thank you dear ๐Ÿ˜Š even though but still I missed it so checked both posts ๐ŸŒž
Well really whatever you want to read, itโ€™s up to you donโ€™t worry about it ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’• but what is broken wings? I donโ€™t recall it ๐Ÿค”
        Same here itโ€™s always a pleasure ๐Ÿค—โค๏ธ

      4. I thought a post name sorry ๐Ÿ˜… Yes you should read The Broken Wings, you will love it so much! And it’s always a pleasure โค

  5. I love your choice of quotes about love, Huguette โ™ฅ๏ธ Itโ€™s easy to get swept up in the WordPress notifications that I have a hard time keeping up. Your post is really lovely and I appreciate that you did this ๐Ÿ˜Š Thank you!

Update on quitting social media: my IG account is dormant, havenโ€™t updated it in months and the photos are more than a year old. Havenโ€™t used FB at all in 2 years and I donโ€™t miss it at all, except itโ€™s hard to contact people because everyone uses it. WordPress is like social media and my husband thinks I spend way too much time on this platform. I guess I replaced social media addiction with a blogging addiction ๐Ÿ˜‚

    1. Thank you Hilary for taking time to read and interact ๐Ÿ˜Š glad you loved them and it was a great tag, appreciate your nomination ๐Ÿ˜Š
Regarding replacing social media addiction with WordPress, itโ€™s totally right, except here you express and you learn something unlike the social media where you only feel inferior sometimes but if you leave yourself, you will be drown in the blogging world ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ I know I am and I must do something about it

  6. Love, love, love, all I need is love ๐Ÿ’• and that million dollars ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ˜‰
