When I read this challenge on Monday morning from Ribana, I thought I have some hangover from the weekend π π
Below are the information and rules copied from Ribana’s post as is and the topic is “Society”.
Oh well, it was a new challenge / game created by Rory
Each week, he will select a Random Topic from any genre for the game itself.
AZQCueU2 is a fast challenge game, meaning that when you tag someone itβs because you know they are online on a regular basis and not perhaps every few days, so a daily presence is required for the duration of the game to continue at a certain speed. This game was created for speed and ease, conveniency and efficiency.
Each week he will create a new AZQCueU2 Post with a New Game Topic and he shall begin the game with the first letter of the alphabet which is course and obviously.
To better understand I will quote Rory below:
A
I shall then find a quote on the selected topic where upon the quoterβs surname ends in A.
With my A quote firmly on display, l shall then tag one of my own readership and award them with the second letter of the alphabet β¦.
B
Their task is to find a quote on the topic from someone with a surname beginning with B, when they have completed the post, they too must tag one of their readership and award them the third letter of the alphabet β¦
C
This continues until the game stops due to an inability to find a surname beginning with the selected letter for the topic in question.
Only one Quote is required from each player.
The Letter X has been extracted from the alphabet we use.
The Quote used must be the Surname only, not the forename.
Should you create a post, all l would ask of you please is to provide a ping back to the link in game and also provide a manual ping back, so l donβt lose sight of the game itself, which as we all know with WP at present is sadly easily done.
Each newly created reader post, must contain all quotes created by the previous readers so that all newly tagged readers can see the alphabet running smoothly and there is no confusion.
Got it? Ok, this week topic is Society.
Rory took the letter A
βUnlike a drop of water which loses its identity when it joins the ocean,Β
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar
man does not lose his being in the society in which he lives.Β
Manβs life is independent.Β
He is born not for the development of the society alone, but for the development of his self too.β Β
Paula took B
βThe paradox of education is precisely this β that as one begins to become conscious one begins to examine the society in which he is being educated.β
James Baldwin
King Benβs Grandma took C
βTo me, the progress of society consists in nothing more than in bringing out the individual, in giving him a consciousness of his own being, and in quickening him to strengthen and elevate his own mind.β
WILLIAM E. CHANNING,Β Thoughts
Beckie took D
βWhere justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe.β
Frederick Douglass
Sadje took E
βA human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.β
Albert Einstein
Li took F
βItβs a very difficult era in which to be a person, just a real, actual person, instead of a collection of personality traits selected from an endless Automat of characters.β
Gillian Flynn, Gone Girl
Jim took G
Galileo said, βIn questions of science, the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual.β
Galileo Galilei
Punam took H
βRacism is taught in our society, it is not automatic. It is learned behavior toward persons with dissimilar physical characteristics.β
Alex Haley
Fandango took I
βIn a completely rational society, the best of us would be teachers and the rest of us would have to settle for something else.β
Lee Iacocca
Ashley took J
βI know of no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them but to inform their discretion.β
Thomas Jefferson
Ribana took K
βSome men see things as they are, and ask why. I dream of things that never were, and ask why not.β
Robert Kennedy
Now my turn Huguette with the letter L
Many thousands of youth have been deprived of the benefit of education thereby, their morals ruined, and talents irretrievably lost to society, for want of cultivation: while two parties have been idly contending who should bestow it.
Joseph Lancaster

I pass the letter M to Simon https://penonsite.wordpress.com/
