During this tough time, I decided to write this blog post so I can check on all of you, how are you doing in the lock down or work probably, hoping you and your families are safe and good.
Each day I open the below link and I’m really terrified from this pandemic quick spread, and except the few friends that are in touch via Instagram or Facebook, I don’t know how most of you are doing.

So I hope you all folks are good and you are being able to stay home and safe.
Many don’t have this privilege especially the doctors, nurses and all the medical staff without any exception! They are the heroes of this era, also each and every worker that has to stay outside so the people staying home can eat, shop, receive all kind of services…There are plenty of workers and services providers and I don’t want to forget anyone!
They are all real heroes and their sacrifice should be recognized.
There’s a lot to be said, but I just hope each one of you can drop a quick comment that you are okay, you and your families and friends and I really hope that this pandemic will be over soon but I hope more that it will motivate us to be better human beings, to make this world a better place to live in after this hard phase, because we all know so far that we were a total failure.

Hi Huguette, I miss you 😉 Glad your back. I am happy knowing that you are safe and doing well. As for me, I am scared for me and my brother who works in the hospital. I am scared for my family. BUT, I strongly believe that prayers will protect us. It gives me chills reading the news when young nurses of my age die because of covid 19. Nobody fully understands this disease, young or old – they can die, healthy or sick. Take care always, and once again I’m happy that you’re back writing. 🙂

Thank you so much Huguette. Yes, even taking precautions I still managed to pick this up. Unfortunately I didn’t have any masks to wear at the beginning, I think maybe that’s why. And too many people don’t take this seriously.
I kept this a secret from as many people as possible, not even mentioning it on my blog, didn’t want people to know about it. I need to be out in the fresh air as much as possible each day, good for the lungs and helping to rebuild strength. I think it will take a lot of time though. Muffin is doing good, she’s a big help really.😻

Well Steve the matter that you should take good care and take this seriously which I’m sure you are but keep the regular follow up just in case 👍 we also didn’t take it seriously tbh but we were lucky it didn’t spread here and we did flattened the curve by staying home

Thanks so much Huguette. Yes, I need to exercise and do breathing exercises and get as much fresh air as I can. But right now it’s so cold it’s hard to stay out for long, but I had a good long walk today. Yes, Muffin is a help, just having her around. She stays with me a lot, she knows when things are not normal. Soon this will be over again and things will once more be normal. People here don’t even think it’s much of a problem, so they don’t stay home. That just makes things worse.

Well, anyways, I’m good. We were about to get out of lockdown since we had 0 cases for 8 days but then suddenly there was an explosive increase in numbers. Oddly, though, I find that my schedule didn’t change much besides not going to school and to my family. I really am a stay-at-home kind of person xD How are you? I’ve seen the uprising in Lebanon on the news and my heart aches. I really hope you & your family are well.

Glad to know you’re good and sad to know about the increase in numbers, we are considering Jordan a great example of how the country dealt with the Coronavirus! But this pandemic is awful it’s really odd how we can’t understand how it’s spreading despite the precautions! You’re not quarantined with your family?
I’m good and my family, afraid on my parents of course, my father is sick and don’t have the privilege to get Coronavirus…I have family in Spain and Mexico and we’re worried a bit since it’s not so good there
and Lebanon as you know is in bankruptcy now and we are fighting many battles to survive but nothing to do actually

We were proud but it pretty much went downhill. I’m with my siblings and parents but I don’t see my relatives as often as I used to. My heart goes to them 🖤 Yeah, it seems the economy is getting destroyed all over the world but Lebanon has already been in conflict before. It angers mex how much fasad there is.

Thank you for the kind words 🙏🏻 well circumstances have changed in my life as well as in my country and we’re struggling through a very hard crisis and collapsing and it has affected all our lives, we lost our jobs partly or totally, we are facing huge inflation and then coronavirus also appeared
So I’m barely finding time to blog plus I don’t have the motivation to as well

Hi from New Zealand, I am one of the workers in an essential service and had to work through the lockdown here. Our country is almost back to normal but there are still a few cases. Most of us here are just trying to get on with our lives again. I was not worried about getting the virus and didn’t stress over it but most people are worried. It is a long story to explain why I am not concerned though.

Hi Huguette, We are safe and lucky here in New Zealand not to have any restrictions for several months now. I was one of the essential workers that had to work during lockdown. That aside I have struggled financially and emotionally since the start of lockdown but trying to do the best I can. My disability (see “What I live with” on my blog) is also a constant struggle but I know that there are plenty of people who are worse off than me. I hope that you are safe and well, take care.

Have just read about the extreme worsening condition of Lebanon.
